a do and i missed it
random snapshots from the past couple of days:
a man in a wheelchair with tree-ring wrinkles on his face showing every single thing that had ever happened to him. a face written in braille.
a man with lips permanently pursed as if constantly waiting to be kissed.
an old black woman with a face that looked like dissatisfaction.
a rain that turned into a downpour at my request.
InterMission. Good film.
i had a dream a couple nights ago that i was in the sears tower, and was determined to get to the top story. of course, everything stood in my way, inclusing people dressed as houses and some incredibly out-of-season easter bunny. after pushing my way through the crowd my papers were finally approved to go to the story i was requesting, and i took the elevator up. when i was on the 37th floor, I discovered it was an indoor self-sustained park. curious, i got out of the elevator and unsheathed my camera. the thing is, whenever i would try and take a shot, an old man or a child would get in the way. I became frustrated, until I looked more closely and discovered the old man was my paternal grandfather and the child was me at age five.
Odd, huh?
