miss manners need to write something about this shit
So, okay, maybe the is just me being neurotic- which is a high possibility- but when one lives in an apartment complex, and is taking out one's trash, and one sees someone dumpster diving in their dumpster, is there some kind of proper etiquette? I've always found myself kind of dumbfounded. I mean, having gotten about half of my furniture, ah, "secondhand", I know where he's coming from, but well, I want to dump my damn trash. Do you just find the next-nearest dumpster and go from there? What if you're in one of those small complexes that only has like one dumpster? Are you supposed to greet the diver, and wait around until they're finished? Maybe make some small talk?
Seriously, what's a guy to do?
